K-State scores with 4 mins left to make it a 1 TD game. Kick the ball deep for a Baylor touchback. Everyone on earth and especially KSU's D expects BU to go out and try to run the ball, eat the clock and try to put the game away with a couple of 1st downs. They come out in a run formation and on 1st down, throw the ball deep down the middle of the field for a 40 yard gain.. Killer. With a true freshman QB making his first start no less.

I am not a fan of that program, but you have to appreciate how they play. Balls to the wall all the time.

Unfortunately the b12 teams tend not to play anyone out of conference of significance. Also if watch the D of KSU they do not press the receivers and they have one of the better D's in the no defense b12 conference . Baylor , TCU , Oust, and OU have weak D's OU having the best of the lot. I could be wrong but they play a good program that has a D in general they would have a hard tine winning on a consistent bass. So good teams in the ACC like Pitt, Duke clemson etc would be able to win the big12 imho

Agree on the perspective of the defense. Even more difficult for B12 teams is going against teams who run power on 60+% of their plays. Because the B12 is full of spread offenses which rely on speed to make plays, they simply do not match up well with teams who are perfectly fine gaining 5-6 yards per play on the ground. They'll hang in for 2 -3 quarters, then simply run out of gas going up against massive OL with a 230+ RB.

Well, same can be said about the big 10... so hardly should give the edge to them every year as they normally do. Although give OSU major credit for walking the walk last year.

Cardale Jones may have another opportunity to prove he is not just a flash in the pan with Barrett facing some legal trouble.

That conference is a joke. Baylor staying aggressive to the bitter end & the inability of their kicker to make a 41 yard FG damn near cost them the game if not for the KSU OC trying to get cute.

You can do anything you want playing against those defenses. It's a stretch to even refer to them with the D-word.

That pass play at the end would have sealed the deal had the kicker not blown an easy one. Baylor was first and goal at the 8 and then a holding call put them back to the 20. You know what would have almost certainly blown the game? Running the ball 3 times and punting to K State with 2:30 or so left-like 95% of the rest of P5 teams would do.

I am a Pitt fan, I dislike Baykor and I think Art Briles is slimy. something isn't right about that program. However, they would beat us by 40 points right now. The only ACC teams that could hang with them and possibly have a chance to beat them are the two teams that rule the ACC-Clemson and FSU. The rest would get rolled.

The Big 12 shouldn't be allowed a playoff spot because they don't play defense. Punish them until they start playing defense!

Sure. I would love to see their defense against the triple option GT employs. The running game of UNC and Duke would also create issues for them.

Please.

Don't let your dislike of wvu distort your opinion of that conference.
It's legit. And again, the only bcs conference that determines a true champion.

Didn't tcu roll some sec team last year? Ditto with Oklahoma the year before?
Do you think we'd be 6-2 and all happy if we played wvu's schedule to date?

Yeah they'd be shaking in their shoes playing Duke, UNC and GT.

You gotta be kidding me.

Just to be clear we are talking about the team that struggled to beat a bad Kansas State team last night, right? I mean I doubt they would literally be shaking in their shoes, but if Baylor struggles with Kansas State there is certainly no reason to think that Duke, UNC or Georgia Tech couldn't beat them, seeing as to how all three are clearly better than Kansas State.

Whatever you say brah.

Baylors starting QB was injured last week and is out for the year, hence the new young QB.
