1) There are no automatic wins in the ACC.
2) It is the best basketball conference.
Hamilton is a terrible coach. Great recruiter though. They are in danger of not making the NCAA Tournament
The early wins over LSU and Purdue are decent, agree they may end up a bubble type team.
I still think they get in.
Not if they continue to play without passion or energy like they did for most of the 2nd half today vs BC.

This. Definitely wanted FSU to keep winning a little bit to make Pitt's win look good. They go from being one shot away from beating Duke to losing to Pitt and BC in a week.
There’s Duke/UNC/UVA at the top... then WF at the bottom. And everyone else in between.
When you watched FSU play Pitt, were you thinking I don't know how we beat them? Not saying I expected Pitt to win. Most ACC teams have a star or two, maybe more. Who is FSUs star?
Actually no. Pitt played extremely well, held FSU to poor shooting %'s/outcomes. Thought Pitt would've got destroyed on the boards, but not the case.
The ACC is just really good - top to bottom. Look at Louisville now - blowing out teams. Syracuse gets blown out at home by GT and then two days later, beats Duke at Cameron (Jones only 6 minutes and no Reddish - that's very lucky on Syracuse's part).

Agree - most teams have at least three good experienced players. Play those teams on a night they are all on, there is a chance you get beat
BC has 6 returnees from a 19-17 and 7-11 league team.
I know the experts say, Tre Jones ignites Duke and the team, but I wish Zion or RJ were out instead haha. Gotta be ready each and every night.
They really fell apart after that Duke loss, must not be playing with a lot of heart. They are definitely in jeopardy of missing the tournament. If they dont make it, it could open up another spot for an ACC team to make it.
BC hit 13 3s today and shot 63% from 3. They wont shoot that well from 3 in no more than 2 other games this year at most. Chalk it up as extreme luck, BC is averaging 30% from 3 for the season. Its an outlier just like Buddy Boeheim making all those 3s against us yet shooting 20% from 3 before the Pitt game. 1 game does not define a season. BC still is not good at all.
The win over Louisville looks more impressive, so it balances things out.
FSU has wins over Florida, LSU, St Louis, and Purdue. They have 2 games coming up against G tech, a home game with Wake, a home game with Clemson, and a road game with Miami. If FSU is the team they were at the start of the season, they arent staying at the bottom of the acc for long. If they start losing home games against Wake Forest and G tech and Clemson then its cause for worry. FSU opened acc play with 3 road games plus Duke and Virginia. Their acc schedule gets far easier in the next month. They have a record of 13-5 this year.
BC does have one of the best players in the ACC in Ky Bowman so if he goes off for 37 like he did today, they can win games.
That's why I keep saying that 4 or 5 wins in the ACC for us would be overachieving and an excellent season. We could beat VT and lose to BC or WF. You never know in this league.
Road games are brutal in the ACC. If you beat a team that shoots 3s at 63%, then that’s very rare.
