BC beats ND 6-2, dropping Pitt into sole possession of LAST place (14th) in the ACC. Pitt's game at #19 Wake starts in a short time. Chances are slipping away quickly for Pitt to make the ACC tourney. But losing 13 of your last 15 ACC games will do that!

I know we have the tie breaker over VT but not sure against BC since we didn't play them.

It's already not looking good for our side. Pitt scores two in the first to take the lead, but Wake has come back with four in the second. Walk. fielders choice, walk, single to load the bases, sac fly, hit by pitch, hit by pitch to bring in a second run, wild pitch to score a third, infield single to score the fourth.

Pitt has already replaced starting pitcher Josh Mitchell with Saturdays probable starter Dan Hammer.

Pitt has to win its last 2, BC has to lose its last 2, and VT needs to lose 2 out of 3 to Miami for Pitt to make it. This is highly unlikely.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jordano is finally let go. He's never made the NCAAT in over 20 years and now he's 0 for 4 for making the ACC Tournament.
