Looks like Wiltfong at 247 put out a new crystal ball for Purdue. He originally had him to Pitt. They must have made headway having his last visit. It would be sad to lose this kid to Purdue, but, it's recruiting and anything can happen. Guess we will find out for sure tomorrow morning....

Get used to it with your tv deal relative to ours. The attractiveness of a spot at any big ten or SEC school is going to begin to shock ACC, pac 6 and big 30 fans. Beanie Cooke can’t do anything to change that.

Eh, I root for teams like Purdue. The little guys are what makes college football great. It's not easy competing with the football factories, and it's always nice to see them go down, like when you guys took OSU down a few years ago. Not sure when you were in Pittsburgh (maybe the 90's?), but it's typically met with resounding reviews nowadays.
Also, you guys did lose to Syracuse last year (it was a good game) out of the ACC.
But every fan base has its rosy-goggle-wearing peckerheads. I wouldn't paint with that broad of a brush.
If the Pitt coaches think he can help that would be great, but it's not the end of the world by any stretch of the imagination if he goes elsewhere. Personally I think the kid is a bit short; he is listed at 5-10 so he is probably more like 5-9 or so. We seem to favor taller db prospects as of late. My guess is if he were a 3 star no one would even give a crap. Forget the stars I would like to just see us get kids that fit our system.

I think he's a perfect fit for the S position in HCPN system, he's fast as heck, explosive, plays tough. He's probably taller than Jordan Whitehead was and around what Hallett is heightens.
I like the class overall despite struggles at wr, with it all hanging on Farmer sticking right now, and qb. But, dl and lbs look great and at worst it's a good ol group.
But, IMO this kid would gave been a top 5 in this class.

I mean there’s no debate you have a better program historically but it’s tough to compare when you’ve always been in inferior conferences to Purdue. I think your record looks drastically different if you had been in a conference like ours this whole time.
