Well its been about 14 hours.....and sad to say, literally nobody on a Pitt BBall board cares......Clemson?
Does that speak to the benefit from dumping Capel?Well its been about 14 hours.....and sad to say, literally nobody on a Pitt BBall board cares......

We couldn't beat GT at home. There isn't a team that we could play that couldn't and wouldn't beat us. They have our number now. We have 1 ACC-level player in Gueye and a so-so post player and a guy who can shoot the 3 when he's on and feels like it. Now any opposing team knows how to defend Horton and he gives up more than he scores. If Gueye isn't having a good game, we're don't have a chance against anyone.OK - How about who could we conceivably play, and conceivably beat?
Yeah, I don't care enough about it to give it any thought. Indeed a sad place to be in late February.Well its been about 14 hours.....and sad to say, literally nobody on a Pitt BBall board cares......

Ifwe lose our next 2, can we play NCST or Geo.Tech? Are they pretty much locked in at 14 or 15?We could play Louisville, Clemson, Boston College, North Carolina State or Georgia Tech. We could conceivably beat any one of them. We will be underdogs to all of them except maybe Georgia Tech, but probably them too.

Can we finish 10 or 11?
I am asking, I don’t know.
Thanks for the responseTheoretically we could finish in 9th, if Florida State loses to Notre Dame and NC State and we beat Duke and Notre Dame then us and Florida State both end up 8-10 and tied for 9th (along with any other of the four way tied teams that might win their last two games).
Hey! Stop laughing! I said theoretically!
I also think it is still possible for us to get the 15th seed, depending on tiebreakers. If we lose both and NC State beats Wake and Florida State and Georgia Tech beats Clemson and Boston College then all three of us, plus any of Louisville, Clemson and BC that lose both of their last two finish in a tie for last. Then you start getting into tiebreakers. We beat NC State, NC State beat Georgia Tech, and Georgia Tech beat us. So in the three way tiebreaker, who knows? In a four or five or six team tiebreaker, who knows?
Like I said, too many games still to play among too many teams packed closely together in the standings to really know anything at this point.
