Best Pitt RBs/WRs Since 1994

I feel like folks are underrating Baldwin. He put up good enough numbers to be a first rounder with some pretty bad QB play.

Baldwin got drafted on the tantalizing potential of his physical size and athletic ability. But he was raw and never became good route runner. I swear sometimes all he knew was run a 9 and try to out jump or box out the DB. He had the physical ability to get by on that in college.

It would have been fun if we could’ve swapped in Savage with his arm strength uncorking deep balls to JB.

Baldwin was a gifted physical specimen and put up a couple good seasons. I would put his career output near par with someone like Greg Lee. There were a few ‘wow moments’ where he dominated the opposition was the best athlete on the field, but Fitzgerald and Bryant had such moments nearly every time they touched the ball.

How about fullbacks in that same time frame? We've had some excellent ones.

Not in any order
  • Lousaka Polite
  • Henry Hynoski
  • George Aston
are probably the top 3

But I really enjoyed watching Schneider, Feola, Mendenhall, Moothart, etc...
