If Pitt gets the 8/9 seed, the committee is likely to not put them in the same bracket as a #1 seed from the ACC (Virginia/UNC). That leaves us a 50% chance of landing Villlanova in round 3. This also could possible put us in the unenviable spot of playing Kansas in round 3.

The most scared I ever was in March was actually ETSU when we were a 1 and they were the 16. They were with us till very late. I had left work early to watch it at a bar, and I was horrified the whole game. Please, please, don't let us be the first.
