BEWARE: Automatic renewal of rivals account

Just checked my credit card and saw that I was charged on July 21 for renewal of my Rivals account. It seems that I agreed at some point to automatic renewal with no notice and I had to cancel within 48 hours or no refund. I have been a member for at least 10 years. I have absolutely no interest in recruiting and rarely check the "pay" board but I felt that I "owed" the people who ran the board. (I also have never been able to 'sign on" on my IPAD which I find myself using most often .) I'm hoping for better luck with the credit card company.

Rivals has operated on an auto-renewal system for as long as I can remember. I don't think this was a new development.
