This is looking more and more like a Stallingsish disaster. This is shocking, really. I don't know what's happened. Its almost as if Capel is blackballed or something.
He is a 10-15 minute guy off the bench on a good team. For us, he'd almost certainly have been our starting 5. I don't think we'll find a better one from now until November.
The guy had 2 points and 1 rebound, and was 1 for 8 on field goals his last game. Just because his best game was against us doesn’t mean he is good.Hilarious

He wasn’t even one of their top two players. Can Wynter and James Butler were their best and most relied-upon guys. I’m not saying Bickerstaff couldn’t have fit somewhere at Pitt, but guys like him are still out there.Hilarious

Want someone who can play at our level.
He played better than our level against us.
You’re free to want who you want. But if you’re basing it off of one game you’re very misguided.
He was good enough to land an ACC scholarship
You think he was another one in the horde we never really wanted? Right.
That’s fine. Maybe he’ll be good, maybe not. And to be clear I’m not claiming I know anything about him. But the point remains. You gotta look at a kid’s body of work, not just one game.
Why would he or anyone that has talent to play in the ACC come here? These kids aren't dumb. They saw what happened with all the turmoil and 2 of our best players leaving with only 4 games left. They saw another collapse. They see Pitt really doesn't have much of a roster for next season and they don't want to walk into this mess. And who could blame them?
Capel is gone in 2 years. He's basically dead man walking now. We're gonna suck for 2 more years and then he'll be bought out.

I doubt anyone outside of Pittsburgh sees this as turmoil.
Bickerstaff would’ve been the most talented player on this team besides Femi and Nike if he came here, this team has absolutely no talent and we’re missing on mid major targets because even they see this program has 0 direction or future, funny that people slam others for being “doom and gloom” .... what else are we suppose to be at this point? This program is a laughing stock
No one is saying anything about success and stability. Speaking of stability, most with a stable brain know enough to wait until the summer and how the roster looks at that point before panicking.
The calendar says April. This isn’t our final roster. Any ACC team counting on Bickerstaff to give them 25+ minutes is finishing in last place. If we cannot do any better then we are screwed either way.

Listen closely........if we don’t add quality players to our roster by the start of the season then we are going to have another losing record. Everybody knows that. You don’t have to get on here and keep saying the same thing over and over like Rain Man.

Agree. If Justin and Hugley don’t return, it is a disaster. Nothing on hand is a reason for confidence going forward.
One core player would be returning.
Nike hardly played for most of the season. Horton’ playing time varied greatly. Jeffress and Collier were mostly out of the rotation until the departures.
Only Femii was a core piece beginning to end.
There is no there, there. At this point,there is no sign of a “there” coming.

There is an excellent chance we will be landing transfers worse than Bickerstaff. The quality of the players in the portal gets weaker daily as the better players sign
