- May Madness looking like a better idea. I have non-"Tier 1" family members being vaccinated now as we are basically to the point where nearly anyone in PA can receive a vaccine as supply is as much or higher than demand. So the decision to play this college basketball season during its regular timeframe despite being played opposite the 3rd and most deadly wave of the pandemic was just so stupid. This tournmanet in May could have been played in packed arenas with vaccinated players.
- And what else do you know? VCU is blaming their hotel stay for the A10 Championship?

Why play that game so close to the NCAAT? Why play it at all? I thought the A10 played the week before to avoid this? I didn't pay close attention but I thought the A10T was over a week earlier.
They are blaming the packed hotel they stayed at. I get it. Nobody follows these protocols. We were in SC on vacation this summer and the hotel was PACKED. I asked the front desk what capacity they were at and they said 50% or whatever the requirement was but if that's true I cant imagine what it would be at 100%. Friends of ours went to Splash Lagoon in February and said you could barely move. I picked up a pizza at a restaurant last month and 12 of 13 tables were full. Nobody follows this stuff so none of this is surprising.
- Worst year ever for the ACC like I said
- Bennett Dixoning again. Serves him right for not listening to SMF and getting his players infected in the Greensboro exhibition games.
- Speaking of Greensboro, GT lost Moses Wright to COVID, picked up in Greensboro and proceeded to go 1 and done. Thanks Greensboro!

VCU believes COVID-19 positives may have stemmed from problematic hotel stay ahead of Atlantic 10 title game
VCU, St. Bonaventure and a referee who has tested positive for COVID-19 all stayed at the same hotel
