Temple played very well Saturday night and the Irish were not at the top of their game. That said, at the end of the first quarter, it felt like ND was going to blow the Owls out. Something changed in NDs (and Temple's) game-plan and the entire game trajectory was different.
Notre Dame is the most talented team that Pitt will be (or has played) this season. The winner in the trenches will determine this outcome. The Irish finally found where to put Prosise (who is a talent!) and it also appears that Kizer is also coming into his own from a leadership standpoint. Fuller, Brown, Jones and Robinson will provide BIG challenges for Pitts back 7. Those underneath crossing routes by Fuller and Brown create some dangerous match-ups. Pitts D line will need to clog up holes and pressure Kiser (who has shown that he is an effective runner).
On offense, Pitt will need to effectively RUN the ball however they can. Sheldon Day is a MAN and Jaylon Smith is a freak of an athlete.
