Yeah, they missed a call minutes earlier where Florida tipped the ball out of bounds. Evens out.

Ya it's a shame. Basketball more then any other sport is so susceptible to officiating/bad officiating.

I really though the whistle was just late for a travel, I could not believe they let it go and got Florida for a foul. Unless my eyes were playing tricks on me, I really thought the kid was flat out walking with the ball at his side. Very odd.

I read this late and thought you were taking about Justin Jackson on the long pass when I read "Carolina" and was thinking... huh?

Then I saw the time of the post and realized you meant the "other" Carolina

I was driving to Cincy so I had to listen to both games. The radio announcers saw the travel in real time then went back and replayed it and confirmed it was a travel. They were really surprised such a blatant violation was missed.

I'm assuming the ref was out of position and may have been running as fast as he could (probably an 8 flat 40) at the time it happened or had someone obscure his view. Some of you that saw the play might be able to confirm.

I ran it back multiple times in slo-mo. He took 4 steps. 5, if you say he had possession of the ball a split second earlier. The "5th step" is a 50/50 judgment call but he took no less than 4 steps. One of the worst missed calls I've ever seen.
