roaring spring
I am excited once again about Pitt Football watching a team that looks like they want to play every week. We are still a work in progress but it is the best thing we have happened in ten years. Hats off to the players for buying into the coaches system and hats off to the coaches. This week is a big game as the Yellowjackets were the favorites to win the conference and have struggled so no time to have a let down and lets stop there running game this week........GO PANTHERS.......

I agree. Saturday was a game the Panthers would lose in the past, but the D came through when they had to. Even the most skeptical fan has to like the fact that we came out with a win. Lets go to Atlanta and come out with another win against a team that can be scary.

Agree. It was a fun game and atmosphere. I felt differently than in years past. I told my buddy on the last drive that we would not give up a TD; that this was not the same old Pitt.

Having said that, we have to stop giving up points (fumbling at the goal line, dropping a TD pass in our hands) and giving them points (bouncing the ball into their hands for a TD).

When we get a lead, we need to put the game away and not give them a chance.

We certainly still have some significant flaws on both offense and defense, but at least now we also have some significant strengths on defense (turnovers, sacks...) - and some glimpses of real promise on offense (spreading the ball more; nice down-the-field passes; using our talented TEs...).

Go Pitt.
