9-7 ACC, 20-8 overall. Are we in the tourney no matter what happens now? Or, do we need one more win (10-8 ACC) to be totally sure?

If we were to lose our last two games, I don't think so. Those would he two bad losses.9-7 ACC, 20-8 overall. Are we in the tourney no matter what happens now? Or, do we need one more win (10-8 ACC) to be totally sure?
I agree. My statement wasn't considering RPI. It was more of a "losing to teams that are not tournament teams would not be good" kinda thing.Virginia Tech would count as a bad loss as they are 115 or so in RPI. Win that game and we are good. Ga Tech would not be a bad loss.
They need to stay focused these last two games or they still could finish 10th. The middle of the ACC is a cluster right now.Not too bad for being picked 10th overall preseason. HTP GO PANTHERS!!!!!
Well let's have faith.....They need to stay focused these last two games or they still could finish 10th. The middle of the ACC is a cluster right now.

go into the game with confidence and blow them out of the building.Virginia Tech would count as a bad loss as they are 115 or so in RPI. Win that game and we are good. Ga Tech would not be a bad loss.
We would be the 4 seed if we win out, in all likelihood. Tiebreakers over Cuse, Duke, NDI'd love to see this team to win both these games and move up possible to the 5 seed for the ACC Tourney. With Duke still having to play UNC and Notre Dame playing Miami it would be great to possible make a deeper run
Wouldn't UNC, Virginia, Miami, and Louisville be set in stone with one through four seeds? We would be the 4 seed if we win out, in all likelihood. Tiebreakers over Cuse, Duke, ND
i think pitinos boys are outWouldn't UNC, Virginia, Miami, and Louisville be set in stone with one through four seeds?
Actually, they're not. We're probably in regardless because all the other bubble teams are playing their way out of the discussion. 1 more win though would lock it up for us.
Actually, they're not.
Bubble teams were 13-2 yesterday.... and Pitt and SHU won today.
Bubble teams are definitely NOT playing their way out of the discussion lately.
Easy there, 1-6 against top 25 teams is not exactly overachieving, great win but let's not get crazyNot too bad for being picked 10th overall preseason. HTP GO PANTHERS!!!!!
And a game to SMU next, their RPI is drifting toward 60.UCONN a bad home loss to Houston today. Houston isn't terrible, but not the kind of game the Huskies can afford to drop.
