9-7 ACC, 20-8 overall. Are we in the tourney no matter what happens now? Or, do we need one more win (10-8 ACC) to be totally sure?

Not too bad for being picked 10th overall preseason. HTP GO PANTHERS!!!!!

We're probably in regardless because all the other bubble teams are playing their way out of the discussion. 1 more win though would lock it up for us.

Virginia Tech would count as a bad loss as they are 115 or so in RPI. Win that game and we are good. Ga Tech would not be a bad loss.

I agree. My statement wasn't considering RPI. It was more of a "losing to teams that are not tournament teams would not be good" kinda thing.

We only have 1 loss that was a bad loss. Lose both these last two and it wouldn't be looking bright, but almost every team in America has more than 3 bad losses. It's just that kind of year.

They need to stay focused these last two games or they still could finish 10th. The middle of the ACC is a cluster right now.

Would be nice to get both wins and worry about what seed instead of will we get in.

ga tech and va tech both playing strong at home. We need one of the next three to breath easy imo

Win Wednesday night at Virginia Tech and lock it down officially. You don't want to go into Georgia Tech on a loss having to win that game and feeling uncomfortable about still officially not being in.

We were like 37 on lunardi seed line before the Duke game, I think we were safely in before this one, and even more safe now.

I do think we get in without another win, but it might be Dayton then, maybe not. When the media picked their bracket a while back, we were a 7 seed, and that was before this 3-1 run. We might be in better shape than we think, or want to admit.

Finally got a signature win, and sweeping another bubble ACC team, Cuse, can't be overstated in its importance.

Great Win but WE have to Win 1 more game , counting the ACC tourney as well.
H2P
Awesome Game

I'd love to see this team to win both these games and move up possible to the 5 seed for the ACC Tourney. With Duke still having to play UNC and Notre Dame playing Miami it would be great to possible make a deeper run

We would be the 4 seed if we win out, in all likelihood. Tiebreakers over Cuse, Duke, ND

A true tourney team will win at least 1 more game if not 2. I really like to defensive play lately. It will need to continue on the road.

Actually, they're not.

Bubble teams were 13-2 yesterday.... and Pitt and SHU won today.

Bubble teams are definitely NOT playing their way out of the discussion lately.

Huge loss for Tulsa today. Impossible they pass Pitt unless they get the auto bid. I think Pitt is ahead of all the AAC teams on the seed line right now.

While a lot of bubble teams are winning, most of the bubble teams that won this weekend I don't think were behind Pitt, or have passed Pitt in the seedings. Seton Hall might be the one team that passed Pitt this week with a 2-0 week, but it's close.

I think Pitt would be an 8 or 9 seed right now, and I just don't know if a team on the 8/9 line can fall all the way out at this point, seems unlikely.

UCONN a bad home loss to Houston today. Houston isn't terrible, but not the kind of game the Huskies can afford to drop.

Dont wanna chance it but going 0-3 i still think we would be play in but go at least 1-2

I'm not greedy, but win the last two and go after it in the ACCT. When all facets are clicking - like today - they do some really good things and the results are fun to watch. I'd love for them to get a second chance at Miami or Virginia. ACCT wins could bump them up to a 6. H2P on a great win today.

And a game to SMU next, their RPI is drifting toward 60.

They are absolutely on the bubble.

Although I don't think losing two road games would mean we are automatically out. But If they then Losr to a bad team in the first game of the acc tournament I could see us in a play in game or even left out. But if Pitt can win at least one of the next three games they are a lock for at least a 10 seed. I think if they win at least one of the next two on the road they will avoid a play in game. Winning two of the next three and they are then looking to play well in the tournament to get a seven or six seed.
