Just curious? Did they give any reason for not playing in a bowl game? I notice bowl games are being played next week and personally, I would of liked to have another Pitt game to watch.
I was curious if it was just a senior vote. I hope that's what it was. If the seniors wanted to play, the team should have played. If they didn't want to play, that's fine.

Yeah, the upper-classmen totally let the younger guys call the shots because Pitt's locker room is so different from every other locker room in America.
I meant I didn't think it should have been a team vote. Seniors only.
Generally a "team" vote is about what the team leaders want. There are hierarchy's in a collegiate or HS locker room and it's not like there will ever be much dissent.

It could very easily be any number of methods. It
could be the captains voting. It could be the team
leaders, and it could also be the whole team voting.
Unless it gets announced specifically, we can only
guess. As I said above, my guess is the whole team
voted. Just a guess based on my experiences.
Nothing less, nothing more.

Yup, if YOU said it, then by all means "it shouldn't have been
a team vote."
SMF knows team decision making.
No. A freshman walk-on doesn't have an opinion.
So much for the term, team.
