If Dixon leaves, the only acceptable option in my view is a big name hire who is currently a very successful head coach on a major college level with extensive experience. Marshall, for example. Hiring an assistant or someone who isn't a proven commodity yet is asking for trouble. It's going to be hard enough to replace the best coach we have at Pitt, let alone asking him to be as successful as Dixon was here.
