KDKA Station Manager has issued the following statement:
We warned little Richie time and time again to stay back from the heat generated by this, or any, important local story. Sadly, he got too close. Luckily, Bill in Altoona had an opening for a weekend Weather and Traffic person and Dick Walsh, as he now wants to be known, is starting Easter morning.
