I wouldn't. He's proven himself to be a spread quarterback. If you're a fan of being down 14-0 before you put your hat back on after the National Anthem, sure, let's pair him with Cignetti.
If we bring him in we better get a new OC. Guy doesn't have the arm to execute Cignettis play action deep shots.
It wasn't arm strength that was the problem, though. Slovis can sling it. He just can't process his way out of an escape room designed by a cat.
He went to sh*t the second he got out of the comfort of an Air Raid, and people want to put him in this offense? Why? Because Slovis did so great coming from an Air Raid?

Pretty sure Armstrong was worse than Slovis this year
They had next to nothing in the way of talent around him. The portal is a godsend for a kid like Armstrong.
Pretty sure if you put Armstrong on Pitt, we'd have been at least 10-2
If you put Peyton back there and had him looking at the backfield for play action then put hands in his face 0.2 seconds after he turns his head, I don’t know how well he’d be able to process the coverage.
I don't think so. If anything, I think he just invites opponents to further crowd the line of scrimmage
If you think any QB, especially one that played like BA in 2020-2021 would have played like KS in our final 3 losses, then we’ll agree to disagree. We’ll never know.
The offensive talent and scheme at UVA this year sucked. That much is certain.
