Brennan Marion is a dog

Tagging along with your buddies 15 minutes away from home on an unofficial visit doesn't move the needle that much.

It's not "crazy."

I remember Ron Powlus visited PITT and no one thought JMII was "crazy" in recruiting at that time.

Powlus was the #1 recruit in the country, right?

Wannstedt brought Pryor in on an official visit, too.

Pitt was 15 years removed from winning a natty and less than 10 years removed from a #1 ranking. Sac St isn't even D1 so that's a terrible example. I know these kids aren't going to go there but it goes to show you that Marion is an outside the box dude. I seriously doubt any Top 5 QB has ever visited an FCS school. Marion is getting Sac St's name out there and will build a championship caliber program there because he's going to get lower FBS talent there.

Actually, there were people, Beano Cook was one, in the Pittsburgh media that thought that.

More power to him. Hope he pulls it off. On our end, this is a make or break year for Kade Bell and PN (maybe). They are betting the ranch on Eli much like Capel bet the ranch on Jaland. Good luck this year. H2P!
