Looks like Brian Kelly is another Pete Carroll, Joe Paterno & Art Briles on only being a Head Coach on Wins but know nothing that was going on under them? Boy, I am glad Coach Pat Narduzzi and Bob O'Brien show more accountability at Pitt and Penn State.

Can't say the same for Coach James Franklin that has done much better at Penn State under New 2012 Reforms, then Franklin did at Vanderbilt lying to his Players until he was Under Oath?

Some Coaches show leadership and inspire their Players to do the same, and don't just make it about all Wins at all Costs to build CFB Programs, without Excuses?

All of sudden when Coaches caught not following all the Rules, Laws, Regulations, they go absence minded and found out they knew far less on what happening on Campus All Week, then on Game Day, but come and play for them anyway?

How Recruits can Trust such Programs that can't know what is happening every day, but pretend to tell tell Recruits all they can do for them all the time, just makes one wonder, how can they say it, and not show it?

Kelly's Notre Shame Head Coach Knows Nothing Now, but can Coach up Recruits to be Winners in life, seems like Lie?

Smart Coaches Take Care Of Recruits By Knowing Their Players On And Off The GridIron!

Excerpts: From Coaches That All Sudden Become Advocates Before Getting Caught Claiming And Then Say They Know Nothing?;)

.............
Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly addressed the infractions shortly after their release, stating that he does not believe it affects his status with the Fighting Irish. “I have no reason to believe that I’m not [going to be Notre Dame’s coach],” Kelly said in response to being asked if he’ll be the Irish’s coach in 2017.

“This matter has nothing to do with me and my status here. This academic piece probably strengthens what I’ve been doing, relative to advocating for our student athletes and the support staff necessary for them to be successful.” Kelly went on to say that any criticism surrounding him is focused on the team’s current record, not the infractions found by the NCAA.

“This obviously has been something going on for a few years. The announcement that comes out today has nothing to do with lack of or additional support for Brian Kelly. Any criticism out there about me right now is because we’re 4-7. It has nothing to do with the public announcement that came out today.”

Kelly also stated that he feels the NCAA’s punishment is “excessive.”

Oh, yeah this is the kind of Coach that inspires Recruits & Players to play for, know it is about his losing, upset they are taking away his winnings, but no clue what his Players were doing???

Penn State Fine$ 2.4 Million largest in Educational History and University Football Criminal Scandal but nothing to do with Wins over Decades?

The Vatican knows how to Forgive Catholic Priests by moving them around but now Prime Time Notre Dame Educational Fame, knew nothing again over years, where Education is suppose to count for something until caught not teaching it?

They all know how to preach Education, Dedication, and Salvation except when No Donations are threaten then all of a sudden it is just about Wins & Losses, and never knew anything????

If somebody that works for me does something wrong and I wasn't involved- and I couldn't REASONABLY have known about it, then I too refuse to take any blame. The idea that you supervise a large number of people and you have to take blame say if 1 out of 50, breaks a rule and you couldn't REASONABLY have known is BS. To me anyways, and I have lead teams of 40-50 people. Not specifically defending this particular guy, this is just IMO.

I believe that is the same response the Wells Fargo CEO recently attempted. Has not worked out too well for him although I don't believe he has been canned. Yet.

The coaches talk about a culture of winning, a culture of success. But a culture that enables cheating is not their byproduct. Can't have it both ways.

They should get the death penalty, I mean, what do you have to do to deserve it....harbor a child rapist on staff for decades?

Kelly wouldn't even accept blame in a death in which he sent the video manager up in high winds. So why would this be any different?

One question I have about that incident is, do they routinely not go up there in high winds? I mean if it was something they regularly did before the death, I could see not accepting blame, if was something routine.

Better question: Why is a football program with more money than God using a shitty JLG scissor lift rather than building an actual brick and mortar structure?

I concur and that is fair, but that is not how they sell themselves when going after Recruits

All 3 Carroll at USC, Joe at PSU, and Briles at Baylor are Great Coaches that know how to win games, recruit, develop their players, prep a team, and execute on game day and can admire all 3 of them for that kind of dedication......but when something happens over years it is questionable how they can be so insightful n preparing for games and making their players win as team, and then all of sudden know nothing about their Entire Program but tell the recruits how great their Program is in every way, and not just Wins?

They seem to ask the right questions of their Recruits, Coaches, Staffs and Players but somehow forget to do the same thing and never suspect anything, or hear anything, and and then the cover ups happen all of sudden and no one knows anything?

This was not Criminal Theft this was Educational Non-Compliance the very reason and essential part of college football being invented in the first place, i don't believe them, somewhere, somehow, today's demand and scandals demand more attention to these news law, rules, and academics since the 1990s.

Notre Dame uses their Graduation rates that are many times 100% as a reason to come to Notre Dame, now the Head Coach suddenly learns How.....and now says he knows nothing and ND too? Baylor on Rapes Non-Compliance Clery Act, and Joe's NCAA Non-Compliance Fine$ Athletic Integrity Academic $hare Lo$$e$, and Non-Compliance Clery Act Fine$ ???

Kelly should at least address how he will work to fix it if he wants to stay at Notre Dame and help his recruits, Players and Good Name!

Exactly, Buyout go with Firings and Pensions too, that is OK and part of Due Process combine with Contractual Obligations and Pension Laws, but when they sell it to Recruits is about Educational Winning, then draw a blank check in their brains when caught not knowing? Does Not Compute and they are Painting the Mice more than being Honest????

i would have to have heard I don't Know what happen, what is going on, but I will find out and fix it, but those words never came from Carroll, Paterno, Briles, and Kelly Lips on Athletic Integrity Compliance's and that is part of Educational Compliances too?

Brian Kelly doesn't believe that anything that's gone wrong with Notre Dame football this year has anything to do with him.
