Why have I heard from so many people that Jason Capel is extremely unliked by so many people at Pitt from players & many others. What is his problem ? I am talking not just about his coaching. I am talking about his personality & demeanor with people period. Needs to be fired.

I know a coach in another sport at Pitt who doesn’t even care about or interact with Basketball at all and he said Jason Capel is a bit of a running joke among the athletic department. Nothing specific just that he is generally not good at his job and getting a free ride from his brother.

Definitely sucks to hear and Capel (both really) should get sh*t for hiring his brother. Plus, Jeff for not changing up his staff. Loyalty is nice and all, but you gotta win, and they haven't.

I still find it funny that Jason is considered the worst (which he may be) but he also brings in our only good recuits lol.

Who exactly that you are sure of was his recruit ? They are All gone now, so not a solid relationship with those players.
