I would like to announce my addition to the transfer portal. My destination will be the golf course on Saturdays. I have been a fan of college football for over 50 years and my beloved Pitt Panthers since moving to Western Pa in 1975.
I have donated for past 25 years and have had tickets before that. My wife and I travel to at least 2 away games per year. The current state of college football has been eroding my interest for the last two years and I could have never imagined that happening. The game is completely broken and beyond repair.
This is not a knee jerk reaction to the portal news of the last 24 hours. This has been brewing in me for a while. Anyone surprised by the recent departures in the football program had to have their head buried in the sand. Pitt football cannot survive in the current state. This is not a coaching problem. This is an arms race of cash and Pitt has a BB gun. Please respect my decision to enter the portal and H2P. 😂😂
