A light schedule for the Bubble Watch on this Super Bowl Sunday. And much less "talent" than Saturday's edition.
Temple at Memphis (18-6, NET 42) - Noon, ESPN2
- The Memphis Tigers are one of those teams hanging around the same metrics as our Pitt Panthers. So.... Go Owls!
Iowa (15-9, NET 35) at Minnesota - 1:00pm, FS1
- Iowa is a team that might be on a similar seed line as Pitt. Go Gophers!
Michigan State (15-9, NET 40) at Ohio State - 1:00pm, CBS
- Even though Ohio State's NET is in the mid-40s... I refuse to list it in large font because a team with an 11-13 record isn't a bubble team. They just aren't. That said, it would be good if they won this game. Go Buckeyes!
Purdue (23-2, NET 4) at Northwestern (17-7, NET 49) - 2:00pm, BTN
- Normally, I would root against the bubble team (NW) here. But if Purdue can't go in and win at a place where Pitt won by 30, I think that looks very good for Pitt. So I'm going to root for the Wildcats here. Go Wildcats!
