The Bubble Watch is BACK for Championship week!
There really aren't any impactful games for Monday or Tuesday. So we're going to start with Wednesday.
Georgia Tech/Notre Dame vs Wake Forest (NET: 37) - ESPN, 2:30pm
- No matter who they play, we want Wake Forest to win this game. If they do, it gives Pitt a chance for a Quad 1 win on Thursday. And a Neutral Court QUAD 1 win might be enough to put Pitt in. So.... Go Deacs!
Oklahoma (NET: 43) vs TCU (NET: 39) - ESPN+, 3:00pm
- Both teams are among the "last four in" at the moment. But I think TCU is a little more "catchable". So.... go Sooners!
San Jose State vs Colorado State (NET: 36) - No TV, 4:30pm
- A loss to VERY bad SJSU would crush Colorado State and probably knock them out of the tournament. Go Spartans!
Georgetown vs Providence (NET: 64) - FS1, 6:30pm
- Providence is already likely behind Pitt, but getting knocked out of the BET by the Hoyas would put them out of the tourney for sure. Go Hoyas!
Air Force vs New Mexico (NET: 29) - No TV, 7pm
- Despite a good NET, New Mexico is one of the "first four out" or "last four in" on most brackets. Losing to 9-21 Air Force would crush their NET rating too and all but knock them out of the tournament. Go Falcons!
DePaul vs Villanova (NET: 32) - FS1, 9pm
- Hard to believe that Villanova is still in the conversation at 17-14 .... but they're to 2024 what WVU was to 2023. Everybody's darling, despite not actually winning games. 3-28 is not likely to beat them, but who knows. Go Blue Demons!
Missouri vs Georgia - SECN, 9:30pm
- We need our loss to Missouri to stay a Q3 loss. Just need Missouri to not get completely blown out. Go Tigers!
BC/Miami vs Clemson - ESPN, 9:30pm
- Clemson is in the tournament. We want them to win this game so they could potentially take down Virginia on Thursday. A Virginia loss and a Pitt win on Thursday (I believe) puts Pitt in ahead of Virginia. So go Tigers!
