Disclaimer: This is just for Pitts and giggles; I encourage the, "What do you mean? That's not how it works!" crowd as well as the, "Aww, this is dumb" crowd to sit this one out.
You get to select one school from each class and one wildcard. For the next ten years, Pitt gets every recruit it wants from the schools you've selected, but its not allowed to recruit any other WPIAL players from any other school. Who are you going with?
Give me:
1A - Jeannette - Tough call over Clairton, but someone mentioned them having a few decent prospects right now, and whatever is in the water in Clairton has to subside someday... though I think they might actually have another potential D1 prospect or two on their current roster.
2A - Washington - Stab in the dark, really. There are about four or five directions I could have gone - none of which seem overly-enticing by any means.
3A - Aliquippa - Though you'd assume whatever is in that water would disappear someday, too. But, unlike Clairton, it seems more like a shared bloodline issue than US Steel pollutants creating teenage mutant ninja football players.
4A - TJ - Just can't ignore the system they've got going there.
5A - Tough call. Would have been tough ten/twenty/etc. years ago, too, but for different reasons. I'll go Gateway and predict a major comeback onto the scene (in addition to knowing that they already have at least one big-time young prospect
6A - Central Catholic - Consistency-wise, it just seems like a safe bet.
Wildcard - I question if it will keep up or not, but I'm going with Pine Richland.
