There's quite a lengthy thread on BWI pertaining to the Commonwealth's porn email scandal, and many posters want those involved exposed rather than having the incident covered-up via legal maneuvers.

Meanwhile, this is the same crew that still doesn't want the truth exposed in their own "child sexual assault scandal" and subsequent cover-up -- when it involved their football coach(es) and administrators.

Nah, no irony there.

That's because those idiots were largely responsible for voting Kathleen Kane into office. Luckily, she will likely serve time for being a corrupt political hack and incompetent lawyer. Hail to Pitt!

An email scandal, with government officials, and lots of cover up. Where have I heard this before?

These clowns better STFU. I still believe there were men in high places connected with the Sandusky affair and some of these guys they want exposed may be among them.

Your true colors always shine thru. You could substitute the name "Tom Corbett" and it would fit quite nicely.

If there was, you dont you think the victims would say so? Theres been at least 30 come forward.

The victims were kids. KIDS. They might not have known whom their perpetrators were. Do you think the perps introduced themselves - maybe even gave the kids their business card?

Huh? TC did not violate any laws. In fact, despite Kane's best efforts and millions spent investigating TC's handling of the Sandusky case, nothing, nada, zippo was uncovered that was unlawful or inappropriate. Kane can just add her name to the growing list of recent politicians going to jail in PA. Hail to Pitt!

I remember Madden stating this that kids were pimped out by the second mile. I've also heard it ran to Harrisburg. It didn't take long for all of this from Madden to go away and pretty much vanish.

I'm not a regular listener of Double-M, so I might have missed it: did anyone ever ask him for a follow-up on this topic? I'd be curious how he'd respond.

Did he censor himself, or was he "advised" to avoid the subject?

No but investigators would ask (duh) if it was Jerry or another man. As far as I know all implicated Jerry. Sorry if that disappoints you. There was a rumor of jerry and a football booster on a private jet supposedly with a teenaged boy who was closer to the booster than jerry, but investigators said that relationship was never determined to be sexual. All the talk of a large pedo ring (which many PSU faithfull were hoping would happen so it could deflect criticism from Joe) never materialized in any form.

So you honestly believe that all of the victims came forward (duh)? If so, I've got some land in southern Louisiana to sell you...great for fishing.

You can be sure that anyone with close involvement with Jerry and the 2nd mile has been looked at and or investigated.

Yep. And covered-up.

Ooops...my bad. We all know that nothing ever gets covered-up in State College, PA.

Don't forget, Kane led the charge to stop the Penn State Health/Pinnacle merger (still pending in federal court). She's on the bad side of a lot of powerful people.

OK. So if millions are spent on lengthy investigations and nothing is found, then it is inappropriate to assume TC did anything wrong and people should get off that train. I'll buy that.

let's extend the same logic to all politicians. Like one running for president who has been investigated ad nauseum by the FBI in one case and Congress in another. Nothing illegal found in either case so let's all let it go.

When was I talking about Hillary? You are mixing up your women politicians--the discussion was about Kane. Corbett is/was a highly qualified trial attorney when elected to be PA's Attorney General. He served as AG honorably and with little controversy--other than the innuendo that Kane used to get elected. She spent millions, and found no evidence that the PA AG's office did anything wrong. So yeah, end of story when it comes to TC. I'm not going to get drawn into a discussion about Hillary, at least not in this thread--as it has nothing to do with the subject--which was the Nits and Kane. Hail to Pitt!
