Does anyone else hate the timing of this bye? The real question; does Pitt come out an play better against Va tech because of it? I know we left camp banged up especially on the o-line so maybe it is great timing. However i would rather have the bye week closer to the half way point of the season instead of the first quarter; Or later in the year to allow everyone to get thier legs back. I do like that we play North Carolina on a Thursday and have extra rest/ game prep for the notre dame game the following Saturday. I just feel like Pitt needed to play this weekend to see how we responded after a hard fought loss and continue to build momentum with our quarterback and run game. It seems rare, looking at other teams schedules to have a bye so early
