He's in street clothes. We need Austin to step up and Lowe to play well. I think they'll do it and we still win comfortably.
I hopped on Cal +13 after seeing Leggett is out, but it's looking like I didn't put nearly enough on it. Geez.
Cal on pace for 100. Rebounding hurting us again. Cal has cashed on 3 twice after OReb's. Team needs to D up or this is going to be a bad start to 2025.

Yeah, this team is soft as hell. Unfortunately, that's been a Capel Staple. Seems like practices at Pitt must feel like a day at the spa.
Pitt athletics is cursed. We are simply not allowed to have big-time success. Missing our 2 best players in basketball. In football going 7-0 and then 0-6. There’s just a LONG list of things over the last 40+ years.
Much less so now. The way this game is being called is not favorable to our Charmin-soft lineup.
Lack of defense and rebounding is the difference. That's got to improve in the second half if we have any chance of pulling this out with Ish hurt.
Cal went cold late and shot only 36%. But they have 9 offensive boards to only 4 for Pitt. Turnovers are also in Cal’s favor (7-3). Points off turnovers are 8-2 Cal.

The entire game has been chaotic. We'll see if the refs' attempt to regain control works
Chaos generally favors the underdog. First time I have seen Capel this frustrated this year.
Lack of effort. Cohren did everything humanly possible to avoid getting on the floor to grab the ball he knocked loose, which is the norm unfortunately
Jaland occasionally makes some silly turnovers. Chance to extend 7-point lead and instead a runout and it's down to 5.
In fairness, that's because we are actually fouling them. Need to make them earn it.
This is much better than the first half. They're calling it much tighter on both ends now
