I remember the discussion we had around Rowan and Johnson back in the day. There were posters on here (myself included) that said just because Cam wasn’t as highly rated as Rowan that he would end up being the better player in the long run.

I've got nothing against Johnson, I also don't kneel at his altar. When he bailed, he just became another player.

To be clear you criticize a good kid who played and graduated here for using his remaining eligibility to raise his profile rather than stay with a historically bad team for a coach that didn’t recruit him -

It does seem juvenile and petty to continue hating a player over what happened 35 years ago. And rest assured the Miller family were not the only villains in this passion play that JTPF likes to recount. Just know this, I moved on. if Miller wanted to coach here, I would gladly sign a check.

I think it’s comical you cape up more for Marcus Carr, a guy who didn’t graduate from Pitt, than you do for Cam, a guy who did.

In fairness, Evans’ assistants stunk and John Miller was better qualified.
And Pitt basketball has been run pretty poorly throughout most of its existence. Hiring coaches who hated to recruit, having a guy like Tim Grgudrich and not giving him what he needed to succeed, bad facilities. The Millers aren’t the lone ones to criticize how Pitt runs its athletics.

They aren't. But most people who are critical of how Pitt has run it's athletics didn't spent decades running Pitt down to potential recruits. There's a difference between you or I or anyone else bitching about things on the internet and someone who is actively trying to work against Pitt's interests with possible recruits.
