Congrats to Cam though this is a C team at best. Kinda sad that the best turn down the opportunity to play for their country. Wished this event could be bigger. I believe Fede will be playing for Finland assuming he makes their final roster. Nice to see South Sudan make it. Its probably their first international final in any sport since gaining independence.

I want to pat myself on the back. Because after Cam's FR year here when he grew to 6'9" and still had that sweet shot, I said he projected to the NBA more than a Blair or Sam Young.

I thought Young would have a better career. Anyone know who the last OLSH player was to play for USA 🏀

Screw him, Puff and Gill

I cant be mad at Cam for bailing on Stallings. Totally missed that Puff transferred to Penn State though I think most of us agreed at the time, he wasn't a "take" here the 2nd time around. That said, he certainly could be our 13th scholarship. But Pitt legacies do usually end up at Penn State, which is one of the most strange phenomenon in the world today.

Good week for Cam. Just signed with the Nets. 4 years for 1/10 of a billion dollars. Maybe he can buy Pitt a Natty?

I hate that they don't broadcast this, I remember 2006 they broadcast s lot of it, Including Greece beating USA in the Final 4, before settling for silver in the final. I'd love to see it now, with Greece having Giannis on their roster. I hope they televise at least some of it.

August 28, they play Greece in the Group Stage, Giannis and his two brothers are likely on the team and the rest Greek pros, who are among the best in the world outside the USA. Should be a good game. I hope they at least televise that.

A lot of games are usually on NBATV

By the way, Giannis had surgery on his knee recently and might not be playing.

Last time in 2021, I don't remember very many games on TV.

They were on NBATV I think. I know one of those years they were. What sucks though is that its the FIBA feed, so its typically one English play by play guy and no analyst. It is a little entertaining to hear a basketball game called by a game by a guy with an English accent. Its just different

They only showed USA games from what I remember, I wish it was more like the soccer WC where you see the other teams too, I specifically wanted to see Greece, and I couldn't find their games.

NBATV used to Televise EuroBasket Final 4 too, but they stopped, I would have liked to see that this year, Olympiacos made it to the Finals.

No. USA has always been on an ESPN network. Others were on NBATV
