Can this loser just resign

Jamie, I know you're God and all, but please just leave. You are pathetic.
Its sort of funny a couple of years ago when people thought he should resign, the response was "Well who would you get to replace him?"

The problem with waiting until the program is in complete decline is that nobody is interested anymore.

Some times you have to learn to strike when it is in the best interest of your team.

Maybe there is a Pat Narduzzi of hoops out there somewhere.

The writing is on the wall for Dixon.

He has lost several teams over the past few years.

Time for him to move along.

Jamie needs better players. We have the 2nd worst ACC PG, the worst SG combination, and the worst Centers. Its amazing we are even on the bubble. We only have 3 players on our team who are better than mid-major level players. He better hope Kitchcart and Manigault are really good from Day 1.

Next year I believe is the key year. If Kitchcart and Manigault are disappointing and we miss the NCAA again I can see 2018 being the do or die year for Dixon. Then the buyout would be more affordable. Shame we even have to wait that long though.

Little harsh there Pres. He's not pathetic he just (in my opinion)is not an ACC type coach. He was more suited in the Big East. He also is way too loyal to assistants that haven't seem to have done much of anything. And the recruiting has really dropped off.

Other than that I'd say he's great!!!

I don't think money will stop this administration from finding a better coach. We don't get it turned around by the end of next year, he will be gone. I think after this year, few assistants will be gone, BK needs to be one of them

Don't worry we will be naming the court after him....that's the Pitt way.

Any mid-major would kill to have 90% of the guys on our teams. This is clearly nowhere near mid-major talent, with the exception of not having a true center. Robinson just is what he is. He seems to make the clutch shots, but the other 3/4 of the game, he misses terribly. Also, if Jamie is a loser, we've never had a coach before that was anything more than the most dreadful college coach of all time.

That is true, leave out the 1920s, and Pitt was good only say 1974-1975, then 1987-1991, and pretty much nothing else until 2000.

Dixon is a solid coach, however, the assistants need to be shown the door. B. Knight was an incredible player on the court for PITT, helping the program rise back up to prominence. However, he, along with Smoke and Barton, need to be shown the door. They offer little to nothing on the recruiting trail or on the bench. You can tell that Dixon doesn't respect them the same way he did Herrion and Slice.

Well, next year wil be a senior lead team in Artis, Young, Nix, Jones and Jeter 1 junior in Luther 2 sophs in Johnson and Wilson, and 3 freshmen in Manigualt, Clark and Kithcart, i think we improve in the back court, more experience in the front, should not be to bad next year, but the cupboard will be bare for the following year 1 senior and 2 juniors, more grad transfers? where am I going wrong, if I am, seems to be poor planning and recruiting, all on this coaching staff
