How so? Almost no one thought we were winning the division, but guess what? We barely lost 3 games. OK, we lost, but it isnt the end of the world. We are what we thought we are.

The #1 goal was beat penn state check
The #2 goal is continue to recruit very well that one is still out.
The #3 goal is get the last recruiting class coached up. We dont know that one yet.

It's the ACC Coastal. Everybody has a chance. The Hokies now look poised to win it and VaTech was 7-6 last year and a team we roughed up in their back yard.

Beating PSU was nice. Pulling a stunner at Clemson would sure put a nice bow the season. But in terms of tangible team goals, they are pretty much out the window. Kudos to the 2016 Panthers for beating the Nits.

Could you imagine any coach at any self-respecting football school, (i.e. Not Rutgers, Vandy, Kansas, Kentucky) show up at media days in July to come out and say the goal for the year is to play in the postseason? That would never fly.
