Well Canada only made 500k at Pitt this year,LSU paid 1.3mill to a bad OC last year,Pitt has the money to be competitive it's just a meter of if they want to be competitive or not

One thing to consider....Canada was quoted last year about how getting fired and moving one year after arriving in NC was very hard on his kids. If Pitt does raise his salary substantially, maybe he decides to stay here for family reasons. I know, unlikely. But moving twice in the span of a year takes its toll on kids for sure.
