In HCPN we trust. Seriously, I don't think we need to be worried. He was smart enough to grab Canada when most people weren't impressed.
And he was smart enough to hire Conklin, Hill and Chaney. Not that I don't think he's capable of getting another one....just playing the flip side here.
Hiring coaches is a crap shoot. Pitt fans better hope our defense does a 180 from this year. Or next year is going to be ugly.
PITT should look for more senior high quality coaches who are less likely to want to pack up each year and start all over again at a new U.
This type of coach would also be more likely to train staff to replace them over time.

Well I got word Pitt raised money to one mil? Still less that he was offered but good coin for sure. Anyone else hearing this? My source isn't direct but good. Chris?
Not when it translates to butts in seats. Canada stays and Browne very likely comes to PITT. Win early next season and the fans will be ready to get behind this team.
Does anyone know if it's official yet? It seems like we've been playing the waiting game longer than usual.
I read that it might not be a deal killer. Browne really liked Narduzzi. The problem could be timing I guess. It might be a while before they hire someone. So if he's gonna want to see who it is he might not be able to wait.
You are preaching to the choir to an extent. I'm still confused how - based on what you said - people think this kid would be promised the starting job. If he was a 2 year starter that had a track record and transferred because they got a new staff who was going to run the spread I can see that. But this kid's done nothing to warrant being promised anything. I'd still like to have him if for nothing else but depth. But he's gonna have to earn time.
Please explain why you think this...solid offensive line, excellent stable of running backs, receivers should b better than last year. Granted a new QB needs experience but things aren't that dark imo...
