as the post game show host. I can't stand his commentary or attitude. I love to hear the call in dialogue be he ruins it for me.

I hope someone from Pitt's AD office is listening.
Get that jerk off of the Pitt pre and post game shows.
We don't need to hear unbiased insight or in his case $hitbird behavior.
These are supposed to be Pitt feel good shows. Not the typical anti Pitt media BS in the Burgh.
Scott Barnes, if you are listening, take some action with "The Fan" and change the tone of the PITT pre and post game shows.
Thank you.

He's another one of those guys that says the same two talking points over and over, tells you he's gonna take calls, then starts harping on the same two points over and over. For an entire show. I can't stand it.

I've mentioned this before, spent most of my life in Pittsburgh, and the on air personalities are unbelievably bad. Not knowledgeable at all, provincial, and harp on the same one or two talking points endlessly. It's like they don't realize sports exist outside of the Pittsburgh bubble.

Whenever I travel back home I'm amazed it's the same tired old guys, still talking about the same crap, and still thinking they know so much more than their listeners. Worst I've heard wherever I've been.

I have lived in a few other metro areas (Dallas, Charlotte, Raleigh, Atlanta) And by far the Pittsburgh on air personalities and sports writers are the WORST. It's not even close.... The only sports writer that would be a good fit in Pittsburgh would be Skip Bayless. He used to write for The Dallas Times Herald in the 1980's and 90's and he was a buffoon then and still is....

It really is amazing. I live in Las Vegas now which has a ton of sports talk radio, and they are all good and extremely approachable when doing on location spots. Hell even the mayor is almost always willing to discuss sports over a drink and tell you who he bet on and why.

I think it's the arrogance of the Pittsburgh guys, they really think their sh*t doesn't stink and the fans are all idiots. Saw Guy Junker at a bar years ago and asked him what he thought about Sam Young's merits vs James Harden and it was pretty apparent he knew nothing much about either of them.
