...his own HC record for ACC wins during the regular season. Nothing earth-shattering, but he has accomplished this in less than half the amount of games he needed to do so in the past 3 seasons. It's even possible that Jeff Capel could improve his overall Pitt HC record back to .500 this season.

We all know (or have been told) the ACC is a bad basketball conference this year (yet Lunardi still has 7 teams in his bracket). With K & Williams out of the league and some other traditional powers (Cuse/Lousiville) down, the conference is prime for the taking. If Capel can capitalize on this season and get us into the tourney and land some bigger recruits with that momentum, we just may be on our way up for good. Somebody has to rise from the ACC ashes, so why not us?
If they can get the Zoo & Pete back to rocking at the level of old, we may just have this thing really clicking. BTW, my most memorable Zoo experience was back in 2011 when #5 Pitt jumped out to a 19-0 lead over #3 Syracuse. It was so loud, I remember not even being able to hear myself think.
