Don't assume that a new head coach automatically puts us into the final four. Remember the mediocrity that followed the Wanny firing? Scott Barnes obviously can't be worse than Smiley, but don't assume we get the second coming of John Wooden. This program is clean and despite the current drought, is consistently good. We had some peaks but now we're in a big valley. Sadly, Dixon is responsible with the recruiting woes and transfers.

We are BANKING on the recruiting class all contributing this year. Who will not have their surprised face on when Dixon says their minutes will be limited because of defense and rebounding? And dear God, what will happen if Artis and Young don't come back? We may not score above 50 all season.

If Dixon ELECTS to leave for TCU, he's a coward. He put us in this mess, he needs (and is capable) of digging us out. If he fails, fire him. But if he quits now, his legacy will be the coach that kept the program relevant, but underachieved in all but one year when it matters most.

I've been on the fence, but the empty seats this year at the Pete was my tipping point. I'm now 60/40 in favor of a change because I think we can do better than middle of the pack ACC.

I want Chris Mack from Xavier. He has regular season and tournament success. I don't care that he is a Xavier alumnus. He makes 1.1 million. We could at least double that!
