Carrington continues to play at a high level. 21 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists in a 68-64 loss to Link Academy. Link is undefeated and the #3 high school team in the country with multiple 4 and 5 star players. Carrington was on fire in the 2nd half and almost led his team to victory. He, along with Jaland Lowe who is averaging just under 30 points per game and 5 assists per game for Marshall, have played very well thus far their senior seasons.

Carrington is now listed at 6'6 for St. Francis.

Carrington drops 36 points on 11-17 shooting, 6 rebounds, 2 assist and 2 steals today. He continues to torch quality teams. Plenty of chatter on him on social media being unguardable lately. His strong play continues from big event to big event.

Jaland Lowe finishes with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists today. He is arguably the frontrunner for Texas state player of the year regardless of class.

Barnes also scored 34 points the other night, but his team took on the loss.

The potential trio of Johnson / Carrington / Lowe continues to looks very promising.

Carrington highlights today, making it look easy shooting right over defenders off the bounce.

Is Carrington really 6-5 now?

Any way to confirm this?

St. Francis lists him at 6'6.

And as I said in the other thread, he is at least 1-2 inches bigger than Jahnathan Lamothe, his teammate, who is listed at 6'4 everywhere.

He is also a full year young for his class. So he isnt necessarily done growing, either.

He looks like a really nice prospect. A little hitch at the top of his shot but very minimal. Looks athletic too.

Wmhave you seen much if Barnes this year? Wondering how he has been and if getting back to what he looked like 2 years ago. Would be tremendous if he plays close to what these other two guys are doing.

Barnes missed a lot of time over the spring and summer with injury. He's playing now for Brush, but they have only played like 5 games or so this year. He's had strong performances and quiet performances, which has been in line with his past history as an offensive player both in high school and aau. He's mostly a 3 point shooter right now that provides defense. He has significant upside, but needs development. He does not have the capability of taking games over against Elite competition like the other 2 or Dior right now.

The bar Carrington and Lowe are setting right now is a really high bar. What they have done in high school and in aau is in line with players like Justin Champagnie, Audiese Toney, and Judah Mintz. They have played at a very high level and can be really, really good college players. At this junction both should be receiving sizable jumps in the recruit rankings.
