Carson Palmer sucks

Not sure I remember a performance by a QB in a Conference Final Game that was as pathetic............Dude is just killing Arizona. Could Drew Stanton be any worse?

Poor Larry. Can you imagine his numbers if he actually had a good/great QB all these years?

You can take the Bungal out of Cincinnati, but you can't take the Cincinnati out of the Bungal.

Remember the "ABC's" (always be closing)....well for Bengals and ex Bengals, it is "always be choking".

Carson Palmer played horribly and so to did the rest of his team. That was a massive egg laying by the Cardinals.

That said, I can't help but think that people are still underrating Carolina a bit here. That team is now 17–1 and they have won their past six home games by a minimum of 17 points.

I don't think people are giving them their due. They should be the prohibited favorites in the Super Bowl. Denver has an excellent defense and should provide Carolina with a legitimate challenge. However, I think the Panthers have waaaaay too much for the Broncos.

I'm not sure if, going forward, Cam Newton can replicate what he did this year. What he has done/is doing is remarkable by any standard. He is the best weapon in football.

However, if he can even come close to replicating this year going forward, Newton will absolutely be considered among the very best quarterbacks in NFL history. Also, is only 26 years-old and if he has indeed figured it out, good luck trying to stop him the rest of the NFL.

That said, I guess I'm old-school but I still cringe every time I see him take a big hit on a designed run. I just don't think that's a smart idea or the wisest way to use that asset.

I understand that he is 250 pounds but there are a lot of ill tempered big men out there who can run and hit with tremendous force. Bones break, ligaments tear, shoulders separate, and brains concuss whether you're to 250 pounds or 150 pounds.

That is not to say that Carolina should not utilize his athleticism because that's all a part of his unique package. However, if it were me, I would try to minimize the amount of hits he takes because he does still have so much untapped potential.

Well, he had the #1 rated passer (#4 in passing yards) in the NFL this season at least. Palmer has had a rough playoffs but he was awesome for the 16 regular season games this year. He has had good regular seasons when healthy, like this year and 2013. He has looked really bad the past coupe of weeks, certainly looked like a choke job.

Agree, that's why I said "all".

Huge choke artist. Severely overrated. Big arm, throws a good ball, but he's just missing something that's preventing him from getting to the next level.
