In the CB Primer, you mentioned that Pitt is after three national CB prospects from Florida in Miller, Hampton, and Webster. Does Pitt prefer Hamlin and Coleman over any of the Florida contingent? Does Pitt have a legit chance with any of those three, as this is the first I've ever heard of them.
No disrespect to the young men on the roster, but any CB prospect worth his salt should take a look at the future depth chart (hopefully the coaches are showing this on recruiting trips) when considering their options. There is no proven depth at the position outside of the starters- one of whom is about to graduate.
Last point, I know there has been talk about Hamlin being a Safety in college, but I really think he could flourish as a CB in Narduzzi's scheme. He is long, physical, can tackle, has good ball skills, and changes direction well.
