Some jabs and stabs:
1. 44-10 becomes 45-44. Wonder how that went over with bar patrons in College Station.
2. How was Texas rightfully ranked Top 25? Good for the Terps.
3. Ohio State's offensive scheme is woeful. Their WRs are timid, catch the ball with their bodies and don't block well. But if they get some open field, they have serious speed.
4. Didn't watch the 2nd half, but the WVU QB looks good to me.
5. Don't know what to make of Penn State. Suppose we will learn more on Saturday.
6. I watched some of the ' Bama game. They have brutes on defense.
7. R. Foster from Central Valley doesn't appear on the stat sheet.
8. USC had a tough time. So did Pitt.
9. Anyone notice the tough time Louisville had with Purdue? I like the Boilers because they are a great school. Much like Pitt, they have powers in their backyard too.
10. I thought Max played a decent game and probably followed instructions to the letter....don't lose the game with an interception.
11. Anyone notice that we handed the football to a true freshman for the biggest play of the game? Wow.
12. Notre Dame played...hardly anyone cared.
13. Nebraska gave up 36 points to Arkansas State.
14. Howard beat UNLV. Odd that the this game marked the biggest upset against the spread in recorded betting history in the Promised Land of wagering.
