When's the last time a ranked team has blocked a punt and executed a fake punt, and still needed an onside kick to maybe have a chance? I'm yelling for Pitt to go for it on 4th down in their own zone after we just executed a fake punt because I have no faith in our offense scoring quickly if UNC runs some clock out. And that's with Tyler Boyd...what happens next year?
We were clearly outmatched tonight from a talent standpoint...but it's time to stop giving Chaney a pass on the offense. Play calling is terrible...no attempts at a deep pass...east to west running plays...obvious dump offs to the backs that result in negative yardage,,,prob cost us 3 points in the first half after hesitating after a first down with 30 seconds left. We're just not aggressive on offense, which seems to be what Narduzzi is all about...aggressiveness and putting teams on their heels.
I have faith in Narduzzi 100%...but I'm not sure Chaney is a fit.
