I never said anything resembling that. I said he had a good offer list and nice film and I wouldn't be surprised if he got a star bump. I clearly said I hoped we could land him. You are completely lying about what I said. Completely.
It is not the same as with Albert Tucker. Reeves had at least 4 P5 (including Michigan) offers as a JR last October when he committed to UK and now has close to 30. He was clearly the best player and prospect on his school's team last year and certainly is this year. He was not surrounded by talent being looked at by every single program. Tucker was a complete opposite case. He only has 2 other P5 offers now. He played/plays on a team with P5 athletes at every position, who have been recruited for over a year. Schools have been at STA, watching games, watching film, talking to their coaches, etc. and while they offered many, many of his teammates, people weren't offering Tucker. Hey, it happens. Maybe it was all growth spurt and better scouting from CPN and our coaches. That is what we are obviously hoping for because it is an offer that is against the grain. Our classes can't be all those kids. There have to be some guys like Charles Reeves and hopefully like Lamont Wade. However, there are going to be prospects like Tucker and we just have to hope our coaches hit more than other coaches.
Reeves and Tucker's recruitment and prospect status are absolutely, positively nothing alike. You show your lack of understanding to compare them.
