Pitts fan base not supporting them with donations and with poor season ticket revenue does not help.apparently, as we speak, coach partridge is interviewing at Georgia, for the same position. $$$$$$
I thought I read somewhere that he signed with Michigan??
That was CHRIS Partridge. Someone jumped the gun and didn't do their homework.
Lots of teams employ a DT and a separate DE coach. With adding a 10th assistant, they could easily add Partridge, as well. They hired Tray Scott, who had been at Ole Miss for 5 months, as their defensive line coach yesterday. Why are they also interviewing Partridge to carry two defensive line coaches?

I don't know, but they can't technically have the 10th coach yet, so it could be a matter of not changing titles until then. Why would they name Scott the Defensive Line Coach is he is only coaching the tackles? That doesn't make sense.

Exactly. And that is what the big (most) schools will do.They could make him ( or anyone else) a consultant until the 10th spot is open in a few months.
It isn't a stretch at all. It is certainly speculation, but it is exactly what schools are doing. Some already do it with 9 coaches with DT/DE, some with ILB/OLB, some CB/S, some OL/TE, etc. It all depends on the scheme and the HC, OC, and DC focuses. That's a pretty big stretch, especially considering how few teams employ a DT only coach. Partridge at Georgia reeks of message board speculation.
Not even sure why you fire someone after LOI day and don't have a replacement ready to go almost immediately.Ok, if you want to take 3 months for an OC....I guess to a small degree, I get it.
How long does it take to find a position coach? I would think within a week or 2 he's gotta hire somebody.
And to think there were people that wanted to hire Narduzzi as Athletic Director. If it takes him two months to hire a Coordinator how long would it take him to find a head basketball coach? 5 months? a year? Not even sure why you fire someone after LOI day and don't have a replacement ready to go almost immediately.
