Some interesting tidbits for me on the Chase Pine commitment are:
1. He's from the same high school (Lafayette) that Lawrence Taylor was from (1977). As you know, Lawrence Taylor, also a LB. Means nothing, but just sayin'.
2. I said when this staff was hired that I wanted to see them move into the Hampton Roads area, and now they have. It's very very very difficult to beat out a recruit in the Hampton Roads area going up against UVA and VaTech. So, that makes this commitment even more impressive for me.
3. He said that he wanted to commit during the season, but he changed his mind. Harley tweeted out a picture of LB's eating out his house today. I think this commitment shows that Harley is a pretty dynamic recruiter.
