Christian Va-er

He might well not end up playing well. But transfers from the “P2” should certainly NOT be over-awed by a game in our slightly less “intense” environment. The way things are looking, including the weather for Saturday, this first game for him might have fewer people than a typical practice.

In France, Veilleux is pronounced like Mario’s last name. In French Canada, it’s pronounced with an “r”.

I wonder what the offensive gameplan will be? Probably run, run, (penelty) short pass attempt... and repeat until NC has a 21-0 lead. Then after being in a big hole, Cignetti will finally try to throw (when everyone knows what's coming) but also thrown in some play actions that don't fool anybody, and Va-Air will get destroyed by that Louisville DL.

Sadly, we all know the game plan will mirror your description.

If we’re lucky there will be some variety for the 1st drive before they stall for a FG.

Well…I’m still not totally sure how to say it, but it would be great to see the lad literally make a name for himself tomorrow (in a good way, please)

im 100% convinced him and his dad are basically just F'in with pitt fans and media with this. no doubt in my mind they are laughing their asses off at you guys for this continuing to be a conversation piece.

Then why didn't we call Mario Lem-yer?
Good question. My guess is because we’re used to hearing Standard French, not Quebec French. Similarly, most Americans are more familiar with Latin American Spanish than Castilian Spanish. For example, Penelope Cruz’ last name is really pronounced “Cruth”.

what do you call an asian girl with one leg? Irene.

and on that note, i'll see myself out..

I guess he can pronounce it however he wants. I have a lot of Cajun friends and they pronounce it Vay yew.

Of course, I knew Tony "Dor set" when he was Tony "Dors it."

How do you pronounce the capital of Kentucky? Lewis-vill or Looie-ville.........

.......Frankfort

While we’re talking about Marios how much do you suppose that Nintendo guy charges for plumbing services nowadays? He’s pretty famous at this point.
