Listen. We aint that good especially without Conner. Narduzzi is getting every ounce out of this team and coaching his @$$ off just to beat mediocre teams. UNC is very very good and its no accident. Check the recruiting rankings vs Chryst's.

Coaching is important but only goes so far. UNC is loaded with talent. That team probably goes 11-1 and gives Clemson everything they want in Charlotte.

The ACC desperately needed a team like UNC to rise up and that's what they've done.

Give Narduzzi 3 years and hopefully he will have recruited a better caliber of player than what he was left with.

This game is on the offense more than anything. They've been awful starting with Peterman and the playcalling. Pretty funny how different a halftime interview between Narduzzi and Chryst.

The talent difference is very evident, but it think Pitt will make a good run in the second half.
This is a big game that most people are watching across the country. Future recruits are definitely paying attention

The last time Pitt looked this overmatched was against FSU. This is on Chryst. No reason they should have kicked out but in recruiting
 Just stop. Chryst took over a dumpster fire. He recruited Boyd and spotted Conner. He rebuilt the OL. Convenient to blame Chryst, but it is year 1 for Narduzzi and at this point we are playing WAY WAY above everyone's expectations (preseason 6th in the Coastal????). We lost tonight to a better team. Is it that hard to accept? We'll have our chances in the years ahead under HCPN.

Well... when your football players don't have to go to class... I would expect them to be good. Right?

Ummmm, sorry to say this but nobody on THIS team was involved in that scandal. Carolina was just a better team tonight. That happened years ago and I'm sure if you look at any "high profile" college's you'll find the same exact classes that were at Carolina.

Pitt's weak fan base is at fault. You need talent to win, and a big part of attracting these talented players is a fan base who supports its team.

Huh? He took over a 6-6 football team and managed to not improve on that in 3 seasons. Chryst was a bad coach in almost every aspect.

And do you remember last season when I kept saying he should be fired and a lot on here wanted to give him ANOTHER SEASON to show what he could do lol. Enough was enough already with that guy.

Yes, Fedora kicked his @$$ in recruiting.

Who had better players? And who were the coaches responsible?
OK, so using your argument, how do you explain "Chryst's team" against VT, GT and UVA? (BTW, ask FSU how they feel about GT.)

Just out of curiosity's sake....who of you above actually attended the game tonight?

CO

FSU stinks offensively. Once you get past Dalvin Cook, they don't have a lot of material. Their offensive line stinks, their recieving corps isn't up to FSU standards and Golson is still Golson.

It is clearly recruiting. On offense, lets list our true impact players...

1) Boyd

Ok, thanks, that's it. UNC had easily 5-6 players to fear on their offense, and we had...

1) Boyd

Oh yeah, I wasn't there, I was watching on TV in Baltimore. But I still can make any comments that I please. thanks.

:I blame Johnny Majors. If he hadn't left for Tennessee, Pitt would have won multiple national championships and would never lose to North Carolina.

There are 11 seniors on this roster.

Four of those seniors are David Murphy (A longsnapper) Jameel Poteat (A washout from several places), Matt (Not john) Steinbeck (A grad transfer from Bucknell), and Mark Scarpinato (A grad transfer from MSU).

That leaves seven guys that actually started, and ended, their careers at Pitt. That has nothing to do with Chryst and everything to do with the Wanny/Haywood/Graham shennanigans.

SMF why didn't you make any threads congratulating Chryst when pitt beat VT, a team that routinely out recruits pitt?

Chryst's recruiting was still poor. Look the defensive side if the ball. Who do we have to compliment Boyd? What about depth at RB? How about a QB?

Point taken about the senior class. But Chryst's recruiting left a lot to be desired.

LOL! I agree entirely. When we win, it's because Narduzzi is a genius. When we lose, it's all Chryst's fault. That seems like a good plan.

It reminds me of when Wannstedt was coaching here. When we won, it was because he "removed the shackles" of (fill in the blank). However, when we lost, he had unfortunately reapplied said shackles.

I love Pitt but our fans are batshitt crazy.
