Just said on the pregame show that Grayson Allen doesn't deserve a suspension for the latest "tripping" incident.

Let's see, this is his 2nd offense and it was DELIBERATE!!! The NCAA and ACC needed to send a message that purposely tripping opposing players that could even lead to injury will not be tolerated.

Seriously I don't get Kellogg at all. Allen is a dirty player who already has priors. Pathetic decision to just give a lame reprimand.

Well, let's see, Kellogg played the game and at Ohio State, IIRC. So, why is his opinion worthless - certainly isn't Duke biased. And Raftery said the same thing, and I respect him a lot.

Thought this thread was going to be about Kellogg's halftime comment about Duke being flat from a recent stretch of tough games. And then handing Pitt a backhanded compliment. All teams are in a grinder this time of year.

Come on now. It's not as if before today we played Louisville, Syracuse on the road, Miami on the road, North Carolina on the road and Virginia in the last three weeks or anything like that. I mean if we had done something like that then you could say we were in a tough stretch of games too.

Hey, wait a second...

Just consider the source. Clark Kellogg is an Ohio State product.

I dont understand how tripping somebody would warrant a suspension of any kind. Its a technical foul, thats it. Its a classless, punk move but its not a punch and not even as severe as a deliberate elbow, which I dont think gets you a suspension.

It worked out for us though because had he not played, there would have been a lot of "yea, buts" surrounding out win.

That seems to be the consensus among people that actually know what they're talking about, including Bill Raftery.

I'm sure if one of our guys had done the same as Allen, and received a one game suspension, you and many others would be up in arms about how overreaching the punishment is, the vast anti-Pitt conspiracy, ACC officiating bias, all the usual noise.

So predictible.
