Leading his team perhaps to a victory tonight vs Missouri even though he is headed to ND. Compare and contrast to kedon slovis who couldnt bail on his team fast enough to get back to Cali . Slovis you suck

Meh. If he’s bailing on wake after all this time that’s pretty crappy still.

Sam is a guy that's probably either a late round pick or a UDFA. He has one year where it's pretty much a guarantee he can use his talents to make money that he wouldn't have to opportunity to make if he remained at WF.

I think it's cool Patti has another opportunity to start. Fate wasn't kind to NP in the Peach Bowl last year.

He played 5 seasons for Wake. If he has a shot at starting for Notre Dame as a grad transfer, he should do that if he wants. The only issue I have with transfers is the tampering.

When Hallett heard he would get to play against Hartman again he was reconsidering whether to come back this year.

Agreed. I am rooting for Nick Patti. I always liked him and would have rather seen him start over Slovis. I mentioned this last summer and people mocked me.
It would have given us slovis or Yarnell by the second quarter of the first game , anyway

Yes….because Patti would have scored 35 points by then.

It is one of the great mysteries of the universe why he has decided to hide the fact that he is the second greatest quarterback in the history of the sport from everyone for all these years.

Maybe it's like he was the kid in The Incredibles, where his family held him back so that everyone didn't know that he had superpowers.

Un-drafted.

Just like the 35 put up playing the entire 2nd half of the 2nd game?

edit: Or were you referring to the 35-yard sack he took from under center on 3rd and goal in overtime?

This is good news for Pitt.

Both wake and Notre Dame are in the schedule next year. While beating Notre Dame would be a challenge either way, getting a W against Wake Forest just got more attainable.

people mocked me.

Starting with the coaches that watched the QBs practice every day and chose the best option to start.

I am also looking forward to Patti's start. I said over the summer that Patti looked better than Slovis and I was tore apart. I like our chances against UCLA. HAILTOPITT!

Wake Forest started a QB who already told the team he was leaving to play for another college football team might be the most ridiculous thing i've ever seen in college football.
