2 Bad Calls against them with under 20 secs. I didn’t watch the whole game, but saw the ending. NC St won by 1.
Clemson Just Got Hosed

What's up with Clemson's 3 point shooting to start games? They made 7 of their first 8 today. 8 of their first 9 against us the first time and their first 5 against us the second time including 4 on their first 4 possessions.
Terrible call at the end though. If anything, maybe, maybe the Clemson player fouled him on the drive (as he should have) but definitely not on the shot.
BTW, I hate NC State. To me, it's as if Gottfried never left. Keatts has a ton of talent there, is recruiting like crazy and they are mediocre.
They also didn't score a single point in the final 3 1/2 minutes.
Since I moved to NC a few years ago, NC State has shot up quickly to my 2nd least favorite school and they aren't all that far behind PSU. If it weren't for the PSU whackos that frequent here, I would hardly give them a thought since leaving PA.
And how many points did they score in the entire 2nd half? 57-42 = 15 is pathetic for a half.
They scored with 15:11 left in the game to take a 51-37 lead, and then scored 7 points over those last 15 minutes of the game. That's a 19 point per game pace.
Sometimes teams see the finish line and calculate what they need to get there. Oft times that works against them. Syracuse has lost to Pitt playing in this manner. Pitt gave up nearly twice as many in the second half last night playing in this manner.
With a BIG lead running down the shot clock is smart UNDER 5 minutes.
Don't forget that the team which is down big, changes its style of play as well. Last night BC had nothing to lose, so they took a lot of chances, forced Pitt into some turnovers, and started making shots that they had been missing.
